Martin,

Not totally sure whats going on there. Typically you get that message when you access a php file that is not suppose to be directly accessible through a browser (such as a template.php) .

Do you only get it while attempting to install templates? Or also with extensions as well?

12. Im sorry your having trouble with it
I apologize if you are having difficulty setting it up. This template does indeed work on all browsers right out of the box.

FYI this template has been downloaded 1086 this week. I personally have verified that it is functional on a few dozen websites.

And furthermore, if you are unhappy with the FREE template - don't use it, simple as that - but please show a little respect.

Once again, my apologies if someone is having difficulty setting it up.

14. Please read the instructions carefully
I get a handful of questions from people who are having difficulty installing this template simply because they didn't read the installation notes.

Perhaps in another release I may include an extra file, but there really are few instructions with this one.

Mike: theses issues do not exist. If they did, they would appear at theDemo Site - I believe you may not have properly set it up.

Regards,
Joe

18. What browser is experiencing issues?
Hi Mike, which browser and version is experiencing issues?

Regarding ethical concerns: Yes, using this template is completely ethical. The original design was an open source design.

The beauty of open source is that you are free to modify, improve, and develop works from the original - as long as you distribute under the same provisions.

The original design was a standard HTML template, I heavily modified that design to allow for Joomla functionality (which includes quite a bit of additional PHP, CSS and HTML). The original would not work with a Joomla site and is not at all a Joomla template, I have simply taken a great "free" design and made it available to the Joomla community.

If it makes you all feel better, I have an email into the original developer informing him of the conversion details. Believe me, im not out to take credit for the work of others! Full credit for the original design goes to Studio7Designs - my only stake in this is the additional programming required to make it available for Joomla CMS users.

19. is this right
I'm finding cross browser compatibility issues, especially the top module.

is it ethical to do this, it looks just like the original, whats different

20. Thank you for commenting!
I appreciate your comment, but once you download and install the template you will find that I specifically state that the template is based on a design by Studio7Design.

I have made no implications of an original design, the original html template is an open source design that I converted for Joomla.

Thanks again!
